9000 Miles

This was my thesis project at the Viz Lab. It was created to demonstrate the software I wrote that translated color and movement from the movie into MIDI data, which was then used to create a perfectly-synched soundtrack. The movie shows that no matter how much you love someone, there is always a distance to be bridged, and even despite the best intentions, some of us never figure out how to do it.
